INA-RESPOND conducts research and capacity-building activities to generate scientific evidence supporting infectious disease control and evidence-based health policy.

01

Infectious Diseases

Research focuses on infectious diseases that are national health priorities in Indonesia and have regional and global impact, including tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, COVID-19, pneumonia, sepsis, tropical diseases, and acute febrile illnesses.

02

Clinical Research

INA-RESPOND conducts multicenter clinical studies including observational cohort studies and clinical trials, aiming to understand disease epidemiology, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and develop improved diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.

03

Laboratory Strengthening

INA-RESPOND supports research through the development of a reference laboratory with advanced diagnostic capacity for various infectious disease pathogens. The laboratory also processes research specimens and supports outbreak investigations.

04

Data and Analysis

INA-RESPOND develops research data management systems that enable standardized collection, processing, and analysis of clinical data across multiple research sites.

05

Research Specimen Repository

INA-RESPOND manages a biorepository that stores biological specimens from various studies, enabling further analysis and supporting national and international research collaborations.
